I'm Laura Chowns (Lou), and I'm a writer! I might not be a great writer, in fact, I could be a terrible writer, but I'm a writer because I love to write and I have stories inside me that want to be shared with the world. I'm also a mother, a wife and a nurse - so I'm pretty darn busy when I'm not writing (which is 80% of the time). I write fiction - fantasy and romance - novels and novellas, and when I'm not writing those I'm writing on an online Harry Potter forum on Proboards because I'm an HP addict along with many other fantasy fandoms (Narnia, LotR, GoT, Miss Peregrine's, Greek Mythology, etc.)

I'm writing this blog because I love to write, and discuss writing. That's what this entire blog will be about. Writing. Specifically, my writing because that's what I know best but I want to hear from all of you too. I want to talk about inspiration, the writing process, the horrid experience of writer's block (I'm there right now!) With that being said, please feel free to shoot me an email (form on the Contact page) and I can incorporate your ideas into various blog posts! I wanna know it all!

For now, I'm going to keep this one short. The purpose of it is just to say that I'm blogging writing stuff so check it out if you want. I'm going to try to do something once a week. Keep an eye on social media because I'll update there once a new blog post has been added (until I have a better system in place. I'm such a noob!)
